NEW YEAR NEW YOU!

Happy New Year Friends!

I’m writing to ANNOUNCE our theme for 2021 - New Year New You!

2020 has shown the importance of taking care of oneself in order to stay healthy. It is our hope that in 2021 you will be your #1 Supporter. Set a personal goal to be a healthier New You by starting now.

Get off to a clean start today by choosing healthy! It’s easy! The choice is up to you!

Commit to doing things this year that will make you healthy. Of course, we’ll all continue Covid protocol by social distancing, masks and washing our hands and we encourage you to do this but to go beyond these basics. Could you eat better? Are you exercising, even a little? Are you avoiding questionable chemicals in food and everyday products you use? Just these few of these self-care actions would help us take better care of #1.

There’s an old nursery rhyme with great wisdom for all of us to heed..

The best six doctors anywhere
And no one can deny it.
Are sunshine, water, rest and air,
Exercise and diet.
These six will gladly you attend
If only you are willing.
Your mind they’ll ease
Your will they’ll mend
And charge you not a shilling.
~from “What the River Knows”

Keeping this in mind, I’ve listed a few easy actions to start you on the right path. Pick or choose 1 or all.

Hydrate - wake-up to each new day with a refreshing detoxifying squeeze of lemon in your glass of water.

Meditate - enjoy a cup of tea as you say your daily mantras. Meditate and pray. Be more grateful.

Stretch - do some simple yoga stretching or easier yet, leg and arm stretches before you even get out of bed.

Eat - more fresh, less packaged, more fruits and veggies, organic preferred.

Enjoy nature - listen to the birds sing, plant a flower, a garden or even a garden pot of herbs, spend time enjoying the beauties around you.

Body Care - toss an old product and try a new one. How about choosing a face serum that would get you glowing for the day? This would mean making a “clean beauty” choice, a product with potent nutrients and protecting antioxidants that ooze healthy nutrients as it absorbs into your skin.

The actions I’ve suggested above are a few of the many lifestyle changes I made for myself as I recovered from two Stage 4 Blood Cancers. I choose clean, organic, ate more veggies, got natural sugar from fruits, planted a garden and herb pots, exercised in bed, then on a chair to finally walking, drank glasses and glasses of filtered water and meditated on my patio each morning enjoying nature’s blessings around me. One of my total makeovers was switching to only safe personal care products (clean beauty). To alleviate the skin irritation chemo commonly causes, I went looking for a product that would get results. The rest is history. Illuminate Serum is my go-to for silky, age-defying glowing skin.

I’ve been cancer free for 3 years and 4 months now.  I don’t underestimate the effect of every change I made from diet and exercise to rest and switching to using only clean beauty. The cumulative effect is undeniable. I’m alive!

When the next new year rolls around in 2022, what will your answer be to this question? “Am I a healthier person now?”

I hope this “New Year New You”  theme inspires you. To everyone who reads this article to the end, I'd like to encourage your healthy self-care by giving you a gift of Illuminate Serum. It will arrive in a darling little glass bottle, with dropper, in a gold padded envelope as shown.
