Since our launch in 2018, Rebecca and Amanda have led My Alchemy Skin Care with our core values of transparency, education, sustainability, and health at the forefront. We believe family is at the heart of our best selves. Our mother-daughter team always starts the business day with a prayer, mantras, and gratitude list, enabling us to frame the day in a positive headspace to best serve you. They love singing, playing piano, baking, joking, and watching Downton Abbey together, along with running My Alchemy Skin Care. Learn more about Rebecca and Amanda!
Rebecca Co-Founder + CEO
As the mother of our mother-daughter team, Rebecca brings a dynamic passion and diverse set of life and professional experiences to the table. Her experience as a cancer patient not only guides her work with My Alchemy Skin Care, but also inspires her to find new opportunities to serve others in the cancer community and participate in humanitarian aid projects. Rebecca’s educational background is rooted in music. As owner and operator of her piano studio for more than 40 years, she has taught thousands of students. In her free time, Rebecca regularly composes and bakes her favorite chocolate chip cookies to share. She loves a good Chicago pizza, and can often be found soaking in the sunrise each morning. She enjoys bringing her talents of organizing and creating to work each day and cherishes being surrounded by the people she loves.
Amanda Co-Founder + CCO
With a Masters of Higher Education, Amanda works as a University Administrator and Consultant alongside her role with My Alchemy Skin Care. She has extensive experience in large group event planning and regularly volunteers, fundraises for charitable causes, and is a member of many women’s organizations where she holds key leadership positions. Amanda’s love for travel and always being on-the-go increased her passion for the ease and simplicity of our skin care, leading to the creation of the Travel Mini. In contrast to her mom, Amanda is much more of a night owl and prefers the sunset. She enjoys entertaining and hosting theme parties, and in her spare time, you can find Amanda exploring city streets for urban wall art and thrifting for vintage costume jewelry.
